Jason bought me a Yorkie in December of 2000 when we found out we would have a lot of trouble conceiving any children. He was our little baby for 3 years until Brendan was born. Bentley loves toys. Anything that squeaked of Brendan's was immediately his. We just stopped buying those kinds of toys because Bentley would eventually just ruin them. Sometimes now, even though they don't squeak, he will take Brendan's toys and put them in his food dish. We don't know WHY he does this, but it is some kind of game for him. He will put it in his dish, walk around like he is stalking it, and then POUNCE on it! He doesn't chew them up, he just likes to play. This toy is Brendan's Transformer. When Bentley is done playing he will keep the toy in his dish while he eats his food. He will move it around just to get it out of the way of more food. At any given time if we can't find a toy, we will have Brendan go look in "Bentley's food". We have found several of our things in there as well. We found one of Jasons Bose earbuds from his headphones. What a funny little dog. But- we love him! He is our "first born"! And, no- we didn't mean to name both kids with 'B' names. I just turned out that way. My sister has a son 3 months older than Brendan, and his name is Brady. They had a dog named Beans. At that time she lived in my basement appartment. Confusing-yes? Bentley, Brendan, Beans, Brady. Grandpa Neil calls them the B Boys. I call them TROUBLE!... just read the "whip cream" post!
I'll have to groom Bentley and post a really cute picture of him. He really is a beautiful dog. A little high strung, but cute.
