Friends Luncheon

Every year, for my best friend's birthday's we go out to lunch to celebrate. It is one way that we get to see each other during our hectic lives now with our kids. Life was so much easier right after High School when we would just go on trips on a whim, and end up wherever we felt like. Now we have to PLAN. Plan is just not a word we like to use very often. But, PLAN we do for each of our birthdays. After nearly 17 years we have been best friends, and plan to be old and grey and still get together and lunch. We are still trying to plan a get-away where we can be like old times. DANG SCHEDULES! We should just throw our planners in the can for a week and head out to Vegas like we did at least twice a year. GOOD TIMES! (Also a whole other blogspot!!) So, this year Deb, Gina, Angie and a special treat Stacy (who is actually moving back from NY after her hubby finished Dental school... HOORAY!!) came over to my house to see the remodel and they brought lunch. Our kids have such a good time together which is good because they will have to get together a lot. Deb made the best Chicken Salad. I can't believe a salad that could have fed 15 was polished off by 5 of us. YUM. Oh, and Gina's breadsticks..... HEAVENLY!!! Thanks for being such great friends throughout the years. I love you guys!!!
