Being at the right place at the right moment

Brendan: "Mom, is it okay for you to stop in the middle of the road like that?"
Me: "It is if you have your turn signal on, are in the turn lane, with no one behind you. AND there has to be a gorgeous sight you have to take a picture of RIGHT THEN!"
Brendan: "Yeah, we always have to stop and take pictures of the sunsets. They are so beautiful."
Me, thinking "I'm sure glad my son takes time to notice the world's beauty."
