These kids did great! Brendan has loved this season so much. He has carried around his trophy now everyday since Saturday. And that is one heck of a trophy! Before the closing ceremonies they had an developmental game and they all played positions they had never played before. They had Brendan come in and pitch to a couple of kids. He was on cloud nine. Did he walk both players? Yes. But, one kid did swing at two of his pitches. AND they all reached the plate which is very important.
Before the game Brendan pulled out his eye black and had some fun with the kids.

And of course being at the ball field for four hours made for a grumpy Queen. We went through three bags of Famous Amos cookies and two ring pops. At the same time.
