I was just minding my own business

After Sunday dinner, my FIL Dave shows us a nifty belt-sander-looking massager he found. After he plugged it in and turned it on I thought "Oohh- I'll try that". That was a mistake. Big. Huge. Apparently it had an appetite for long red hair in a pony tail. The next thing I know, my hair is sucked in- wrapped tightly around the INSIDE of this monster.

I screamed as it yanked my head back, Addison starts freaking out, my SIL Hayley is crying she's laughing so hard, and I am thinking I am going to have to cut all my hair off! The next thing I think is "I wish I had a camera!" Luckily, Hayley had one in her purse to document the occasion.

Jason to the rescue. He can't get the hair out. He is tugging and pulling with no luck. So, out comes the screwdriver- only there are no screws or bolts on this thing, only rivets. So he had to bust it open. I'm so sorry Dave- I know you were excited about your new find. Also- thanks Hayley for emailing me these pictures!

The hair sucking motor and the atrocious knot that I had to brush out of my hair. Oh well, I needed it thinned out anyway. Did I mention I have a headache?
